And Then There Were Six

A tale of John's and Katie's big adventure in bringing Lucy home from Vietnam.

Friday, August 04, 2006

We pass the time. John and Mason have consumed several books between them since we left Salt Lake. To be honest, we feel we are on an errand to brind lucy home, so haven't felt the "tourist bug" we usually do. I promised myself that we'd get out tomorrow-but John just picked up a new novel and Mason's almost done with Harry Potter's search for the goblet of fire...we'll see.

To Be with Lucy!
To Be With Lucy!We got to visit Lucy again this morning. It
was a joy being with her. She happily recieves us and just smiles and cuddles as we lavish our attention on her. We've enjoyed holding and meeting all the babies in the orphanage and truly feel love for the nannies, they are good women who do their jobs with love and kindness. I just can't wait until this little one is in our arms for always.

Lucy seems to be as happy with you as you are with her!
I am glad you all have some time to down load...read/sleep relax etc. Savor it all! Take it easy. There is , as you know lots to do when you get Lucy home. Bryn, Madi and I had our 2nd Pre-school day today. The girls were great with the 3 little kids and they were great with the girls! It was fun and did not last too long, but only those 2 and under get to have naps. (how about those of us over 55??) All is well. Love Mom

WOW! She is really coming home isn't she! It all just hit me, I am SO excited to meet her! She looks like a happy, mellow baby. I love seeing John make her laugh. From how comfortable she is in the pictures, you would think shes been with you since day one! Hurry back I want to play with her too! :)

Hi You Special People.
We are so happy to see the darling, do you think she will be spoiled?
We are as anxious to hold her as we can be. Do you know when you can have her sealed to our family?
Love to all
