Papers Signed!

We just came from the justice department, where we signed a couple of papers and smiled in front of a women seated behind a glass window. The total experience took about 15 minutes, and that was with another mother doing the same thing with the same facilitator too. Things were run very well and we thank the Vietnamese government for their allowing us the chance to begin this process. After we left Linh, our trusty guide and friend, said we would go to the orphanage this afternoon at 2 and BRING LUCY OUT. We hope this happens, we are guardedly joyful at this moment. In the meantime Linh is out buying baby cribs for us (our hotel doesn't have one) and we are wasting time wishing it was 2 o.clock. I'm so glad we snapped all those pics of the orphanage yesterday-because with any luck this will be our last visit there.
we can hardly believe that SOMETHING, anything has gone the way it should. Next step, g/r date. We pray it will be given sooner rather than later. Who knows.
